Internal Secondment Opportunity
Quality Associate – Slade Health (Mount Waverley)
Secondment duration: 6.5 months (Sep 21st 2026 to Apr 10th 2027)

Play a key role in ensuring the compliant operation of a network of GMP licensed compounding facilities, maintaining the overarching quality systems and supporting both site-based and national teams.

About the Role:
Responsible for leading and continuously improving investigation activities within the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS). This role ensures the highest standards of product safety, compliance, and integrity.


Partners cross-functionally with Operations, Training and Facilities departments to identify systemic risks, implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and strengthen overall quality performance. Leverage data-driven insights to enhance microbial assurance programs, assisting in maintaining regulatory compliance to TGA PIC/S and support audit readiness.


Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience driving Quality in a GMP licenced manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Systems and the compliance management of Quality Events via MasterControl, but not limited to:
  1. Non-Conformance, Deviations, Complaints and Recalls
  2. Risk Management, CAPA & Change Control
  3. Validation
  4. Training
  5. Continuous Improvement
  6. Workplace Health & Safety
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice, PIC/S and the Regulatory frameworks for Scheduled drugs and wholesaling of medicines.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing data sets.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, intermediate skills in the general MS Office suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management and externally with customers, suppliers and when required regulatory bodies.
  • Strong task and time management skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be able to effectively co-ordinate, track and prioritise tasks to deliver to tight timeframes.
This role is offered on a secondment full-time basis working 10 days per fortnight.
